Semi-Finals Game 1: Fortuna - Utena 68-43

Lemminkainen overcame Utena in the opener. The game without a history. Lemminkainen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Utena to just 5 points in first quarter and to 14 points in first half. Lemminkainen held Utena to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 41.5 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Utena 52-29 including a 37-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Rita Milieskiene (175-78) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Monika Grigalauskyte (187-92) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Four Lemminkainen players scored in double figures. Lemminkainen's coach Alfredas Kaniava felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Agne Ziegyte (175-86) answered with 16 points and 4 steals and forward Vilma Tamuleviciute (182-76) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Utena.
