The most interesting game of round 7 was a home defeat of Contern (7-16) by Soleuvre (8-15) who outscored them by 21 points 73-52 in the game for the second place. The game without a history. Soleuvre led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Soleuvre forced 24 Contern turnovers. 26 personal fouls committed by Contern helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for American forward Lamonte Ulmer (198-86, college: Rhode Island, agency: Impact Basketball) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks. Center David Berthle (191-85) helped adding 10 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side the former international guard Sven Pezzotta (186-88) responded with 11 points and American forward Brandon Gary (202-83, college: Hutchinson CC) scored 6 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Soleuvre maintains second place in the group with 8-15 record. Contern at the other side keeps the third position with 16 games lost. Soleuvre are looking forward to face Musel Pikes in Stadrbredimus in the next round. Contern will play at home against Black Star in Mersch and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
