We should mention about the upset which took place in Tbilisi, where 7th ranked Energy Invest (7-12) lost to tenth ranked GSAU (5-14) in a road game 75-85. Energy Invest was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. GSAU made 22-of-28 charity shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Guard George Khaniashvili (194-89) nailed 26 points and 8 rebounds (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!) for the winning side and power forward Kakhaber Mumladze (201-92) accounted for 14 points and 6 rebounds. Cameroonian center Samuel Lamu (204-81) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks and center David Gugava (203-90) added 18 points and 12 rebounds respectively for Energy Invest in the defeat. Five Energy Invest players scored in double figures. GSAU maintains tenth place with 5-14 record. Energy Invest lost third consecutive game. Defending champion dropped to the sixth position with 12 games lost. GSAU's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tbilisi to the arena GTU.
