Bottom-ranked Zabok (0-4) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to seventh ranked Alkar Sinj (2-3) 75-69 on Saturday evening. Zabok trailed 44-41 at halftime, rallying from a 31-15 deficit at the end of first quarter to trim the gap. Swingman Ante Delas (201-88) stepped up and scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and forward Zeliko Zupic (205-81, college: Denver) chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Robert Lez (200-79) responded with 17 points and forward Igor Peklaric (200-79) scored 15 points. Zabok's coach Dragutin Crnjevic rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Alkar Sinj moved-up to fifth place in Group A, which they share with Cibona. Loser Zabok still closes the standings with four games lost. Alkar Sinj will face Cibona (#6) in Zagreb in the next round. Zabok will play on the road against Borik Puntamika in Zadar and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
