There was a surprise result in Valladolid where seventeenth ranked CB Granada (6-23) won against higher ranked Blancos de Rueda (16-13) 67-62 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 67-62. CB Granada dominated on the defensive end, holding Blancos de Rueda to just 0 points in second quarter. The best player for the winners was American guard Coby Karl (196-83, college: Boise St.) who scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. Argentinian-Italian guard Nicolas Gianella (187-78) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds.
