Regular Season Round 47: Fukuoka Rizing - Shiga L-Stars 109-88

An interesting game for Fukuoka Rizing (28-17) which hosted in Fukuoka 4th placed Shiga Lakestars (26-19). Third ranked Fukuoka Rizing had an easy win 109-88. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Shiga Lakestars. The game was mostly controlled by Fukuoka Rizing. Shiga Lakestars managed to win fourth quarter 28-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fukuoka Rizing looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American players dominated the game. Swingman Michael Parker (200-81, college: Evergreen St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 33 points (!!!), 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Guard Nile Murry (193-83, college: TCU) contributed with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Power forward Gary Hamilton (208-84, college: Miami, FL) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Lamar Rice (203-82, college: Georgetown, KY) added 17 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Shiga Lakestars. Four Fukuoka Rizing and five Shiga Lakestars players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Fukuoka Rizing have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Osaka Evessa. Shiga Lakestars at the other side keep the fourth position with 19 games lost. Fukuoka Rizing is again looking forward to face Shiga Lakestars (#4) at home in the next round. Shiga Lakestars will have a break next round.
