Top ranked Umana Venezia (19-8) recorded its eighth loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by fourteenth ranked Trenkwalder RE (10-17) 72-68. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Umana Venezia. It looked good early as Umana Venezia took an 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. Umana Venezia's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Trenkwalder RE moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Tezenis Verona and Assigeco. Umana Venezia at the other side still keeps top position with eight games lost. They share it with Fastweb CM. Trenkwalder RE will play against higher ranked Immobiliare SR (#6) in Rimini in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Umana Venezia will play on the road against Snaidero Udine (#5) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
