Top ranked Umana Venezia (19-8) recorded its eighth loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by fourteenth ranked Trenkwalder RE (10-17) 72-68. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Umana Venezia. It looked good early as Umana Venezia took an 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. Trenkwalder RE will play against higher ranked Immobiliare SR (#6) in Rimini in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Umana Venezia will play on the road against Snaidero Udine (#5) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
