We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 8th ranked Fileni BPA (13-14) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Aget Imola (13-14) 82-67 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Aget Imola. Fileni BPA was better in second period 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Davide Bruttini (203-87) who scored 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). American guard Trent Whiting (185-76, college: BYU) chipped in 16 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Four Aget Imola players scored in double figures. Aget Imola's coach Maurizio Lasi used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international center Michele Maggioli (212-77) who recorded 24 points and Slovenian forward Marko Tusek (203-75, agency: Alti Sport) added 15 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Aget Imola moved-up to eighth place, which they share with defeated Fileni BPA. Aget Imola will face Tuscany Pistoia (#10) on the road in the next round.
