The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Fastweb CM as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Fastweb CM defeated 4th placed Snaidero Udine in Casale 89-76. The game was mostly controlled by Fastweb CM. Snaidero Udine managed to win third quarter 22-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fastweb CM made 34-of-40 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game, while Snaidero Udine only scored eighteen points from the stripe.
