An interesting game took place in Cremona where higher ranked Air Avellino (12-13) was upset on the court of twelfth ranked Vanoli-Braga (11-14) 89-78. The game was mostly controlled by Vanoli-Braga. Air Avellino was better in second period 28-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Vanoli-Braga made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They keep the fifth position with 13 games lost. Vanoli-Braga's next round opponent will be higher ranked CS Bologna (#6) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
