BJ League top team - Okinawa GK (31-15) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they beat ninth ranked Takamatsu FA (10-34) 83-66. The game was mostly controlled by Okinawa GK. Takamatsu FA managed to win second period 23-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Takamatsu FA 53-33 including a 39-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American swingman Carlos Dixon (202-81, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Strategic Sports) who scored 18 points and 9 rebounds. The other American import swingman Anthony McHenry (201-83, college: Georgia Tech) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Five Okinawa GK players scored in double figures. Okinawa GK's coach Dai Oketani allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Terrance Farley (208-85, college: Louisville) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and guard Satoshi Takeda (185-80) added 12 points, 5 assists and 7 steals respectively. Okinawa GK have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 31-15 record. Loser Takamatsu FA keeps the ninth place with 34 games lost.
