The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Kvarner 2010 (4-2) in Rijeka on Thursday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Dubrava (3-2) 102-90. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kvarner 2010. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in Group B. The game was mostly controlled by Dubrava. Kvarner 2010 managed to win third quarter 24-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Power forward Dario Saric (205-94) had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Matteo Juricic (191-91) chipped in 23 points and 5 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Rudolf Jugo (183-84) with 25 points and 7 assists and forward Franko Filipovic (204-87) scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. Five Dubrava and four Kvarner 2010 players scored in double figures. Dubrava have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in Group B, which they share with Darda. Newly promoted Kvarner 2010 still keeps top position with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
