An interesting game for Kutaisi (15-5) which hosted in Kutaisi their biggest opponent TSU (16-4). Third ranked Kutaisi had an easy win 100-82. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of TSU. It looked good early as TSU took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Kutaisi had a 30-18 second period charge getting the lead and TSU was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 82-100. Kutaisi players were unselfish on offense dishing 35 assists. Forward Rezo Didia (203-87) had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Buba Kvimsadze (195-82) chipped in 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. At the losing side center Ilia Londaridze (205-89) responded with 23 points and 6 rebounds and center Richard Matiashvili (209-89) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kutaisi have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 15-5 record having just three points less than leader Army.
