Superleague top team - Army Sport Klub (18-2) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Energy Invest (7-13) in Tbilisi 83-64. The game without a history. Army Sport Klub led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Energy Invest's 32. They outrebounded Energy Invest 52-29 including a 38-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international guard Kote Tugushi (192-84) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and center Giorgi Sharabidze (210-90) supported him with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Army Sport Klub players scored in double figures. Army Sport Klub's coach Levan Moseshvili used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 24 points and 6 rebounds by guard Malkhazi Abaishvili (183-91) did not help to save the game for Energy Invest. Cameroonian center Samuel Lamu (204-81) added 18 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Army Sport Klub have an impressive five-game winning streak. Newly promoted Army Sport Klub maintains first position with 18-2 record. Energy Invest lost fourth consecutive game. Defending champion keeps the seventh place with 13 games lost.
