No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Akita Happinets (17-31) beat at home 7th ranked Toyama Grouses (12-30) 75-69 on Sunday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 16-12. But Toyama Grouses won second period 19-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Toyama Grouses were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American players dominated the game.
