There was no surprise when 13th ranked Fabi Shoes Montegranaro (10-16) was defeated at home by tenth ranked Scavolini Pesaro (12-14) 66-56 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Scavolini Pesaro. Fabi Shoes Montegranaro was better in third quarter 20-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was Puerto Rican guard Guillermo Diaz (188-85, college: Miami, FL) who scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Andre Collins (183-82, college: Loyola, MD) chipped in 13 points and 4 steals. Bulgarian power forward Dejan Ivanov (205-86) produced 14 points and 9 rebounds and American power forward Sharrod Ford (206-82, college: Clemson, agency: Pro One Sports) added 10 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fabi Shoes Montegranaro's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
