Finals Game 1: VICI Aistes - Fortuna 97-69

VICI Kaunas grabbed the lead in the Final with a comfortable home win over Lemminkainen. The game was mostly controlled by VICI Kaunas. Lemminkainen managed to win second period 23-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. VICI Kaunas dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Lemminkainen's 40. VICI Kaunas forced 21 Lemminkainen turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of international center Giedre Paugaite (192-90) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 6 rebounds. The former international guard Ausra Bimbaite (179-82) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four VICI Kaunas players scored in double figures. VICI Kaunas' coach Mantas Sernius felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Monika Grigalauskyte (187-92) answered with 26 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and guard Inesa Visgaudaite (171-91) added 11 points in the effort for Lemminkainen.
