The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Mineros de Cananea (19-5) at the home court on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by Rayos de Hermosillo (19-5) 83-76. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Mineros de Cananea. It was a key game for the top position in the league as both teams had the same 18-5 record before this meeting. Rayos de Hermosillo used an opportunity after Cananea lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position which they share with defeated Mineros de Cananea. Rayos de Hermosillo is looking forward to face Caballeros de Culiacan (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Mineros de Cananea will play against Fuerza Guinda Nogales and is hoping to win this game.
