Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Zagreb: KK Zagreb CO (#2) and Cibona (#4). KK Zagreb CO (6-1) won against visiting Cibona (3-4) 89-78. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 89-78. It was a great evening for the former international swingman Krunoslav Simon (197-85) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 6 rebounds. Defending champion Cibona keeps the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with KK Split and Borik. KK Zagreb CO will meet Zadar (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Cibona will play against Borik Puntamika in Zadar and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
