An interesting game for Zadar (6-3) which hosted in Zadar second-ranked KK Zagreb CO (6-2). Third ranked Zadar had an easy win 80-62. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of KK Zagreb CO. The game was mostly controlled by Zadar. KK Zagreb CO managed to win third quarter 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Swingman Marko Car (188-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 4 assists. Guard Pavle Marcinkovic (197-89) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Five Zadar players scored in double figures. The former international swingman Krunoslav Simon (197-85) replied with 26 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Joshua Heytvelt (211-86, college: Gonzaga) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for KK Zagreb CO. Zadar maintains third position with 6-3 record behind leader Darda. KK Zagreb CO at the other side keeps the second place with two games lost. Zadar are looking forward to face Cibona (#5) in Zagreb in the next round. KK Zagreb CO will play at home against Zabok in Zabok and is hoping to win this game.
