Quarter-Finals Round 3: Kryvbasbasket - BC Donetsk 50-108

BC Donetsk became the first Superleague semifinalists as they swept Kryvbasbasket following the road win. The game without a history. BC Donetsk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Kryvbasbasket to just 6 points in third quarter. BC Donetsk dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Kryvbasbasket's 26. They outrebounded Kryvbasbasket 42-16 including a 28-7 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for BC Donetsk especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 66.7 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Kryvbasbasket's players. Kryvbasbasket was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for international center Viacheslav Kravtsov (212-87, agency: Beo Basket) who led his team to a victory with 21 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). American guard Justin Gray (188-84, college: Wake Forest) contributed with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Four BC Donetsk players scored in double figures. Guard Artem Slipenchuk (192-89, agency: Interperformances) answered with 12 points and forward Vitali Malchevskiy (206-87) added 10 points in the effort for Kryvbasbasket. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
