Regular Season Round 27: Spartak Pleven - Chernomorets 82-73

BC Spartak Pleven got its 9th victory of the season, after a comeback win over Chernomorets Burgas 82-73. Despite the success, Spartak cant now move up in the standings, and will finish the season on seventh place, while Chernomorets Burgas is last, before the last round of NBL. It also was a ninth consecutive loss for Decho Koevinovs men. In the beginning it was a close affair, with many lead changes and ties. A good run by Spartak gave them the lead after 10 25-20. Chernomorets Burgas finished the half strong, and came from behind to lead 43-37 at the break. In the third quarter, the visiting team from Bourgas stayed on top, but Spartak was pushing hard to tie it at 50. After 30 minutes it was still Chernomorets Burgas in charge 59-52, and nothing was yet decided. The last three minutes were the tie-breaker, and a 10-0 run for the hosts put them ahead 78-70, and from this point they just closed the game. Hrisimir Dimitrov (197-G/F-74) scored 23 points for the win, and Ilia Stankov (198-F-76) added 17. For Chernomorets Burgas, Hristo Zahariev (197-G/F-90) got 20 points. *by Maria Mitzova
