Quarter-Finals Round 3: Dnipro - Budivelnyk 49-80

Budivelnyk thrashed Dnipro for 2-1 lead in the quarterfinal series. The game without a history. Budivelnyk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Budivelnyk had a 34-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Lamayne Wilson (204-80, college: Troy) who scored 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard William Keys (188-77, college: N.Mexico St.) chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Budivelnyk's coach Josep Berrocal felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Steve Burtt (185-84, college: Iona) who recorded 13 points and 9 assists and power forward Mario Austin (206-82, college: Mississippi St., agency: Strategic Sports) added 7 points and 13 rebounds respectively.
