Zalgiris clinched their LKL Finals birth. They upset Juventus on the road in Game 2. The game without a history. Zalgiris led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Zalgiris outrebounded Juventus 41-26 including a 25-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Juventus was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international forward Paulius Jankunas (205-84, agency: Interperformances) orchestrated the victory by scoring 12 points and 8 rebounds. American guard DeJuan Collins (188-76, college: Tuskegee) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Four Zalgiris players scored in double figures. Center Vaidas Cepukaitis (207-89, agency: Interperformances) replied with 13 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and forward Arunas Vasiliauskas (201-85) added 12 points in the effort for Juventus. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
