CIBACOPA top team - Mineros de Cananea (22-5) added another victory to their record on Tuesday. This time they beat fifth ranked Ostioneros de Guaymas (14-13) 86-78. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Ostioneros de Guaymas. The guests trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 8 points. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Mineros de Cananea made 11 blocks. American players dominated the game.
