Semi-Finals Game 1: Budivelnyk - Ferro-ZNTU 90-67

Budivelnyk grabbed the lead in the series outscoring exhausted Ferro-ZNTU at home court. The game was mostly controlled by Budivelnyk. Ferro-ZNTU was better in fourth quarter 27-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Budivelnyk players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Ferro-ZNTU's players. Worth to mention a great performance of British center Andrew Betts (216-77, college: Long Beach St.) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Zach Morley (203-83, college: Wisconsin) contributed with 6 points and 7 assists for the winners. Four Budivelnyk players scored in double figures. Budivelnyk's coach Josep Berrocal felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American center R.T. Guinn (208-81, college: Baylor) answered with 21 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import forward Vincent Hunter (208-84, college: Arkansas) added 18 points in the effort for Ferro-ZNTU.
