Semi-Finals Game 3: Vitoria SC - Porto Ferpinta 68-85

Porto advanced into the LPB Finals following the third straight win over Vitoria SC. It looked good early as Vitoria SC took an 5-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then FC Porto Ferpinta had a 24-14 second period charge getting the lead and Vitoria SC was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 68-85. FC Porto Ferpinta dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Vitoria SC's 20 and made 18-of-21 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Julian Terrell (206-84, college: Vanderbilt, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) who led the winners and scored 21 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). The former international forward Nuno Marcal (205-75) accounted for 15 points for the winning side. Four FC Porto Ferpinta players scored in double figures. The former international swingman Paulo Cunha (199-80) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and guard Andre Bessa (179-89) added 20 points respectively for Vitoria SC in the defeat.
