Finals Game 6: Hacettepe - Kepez Bld 76-58

The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-58. Hacettepe Univ. dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Kepez Bld's 30. They outrebounded Kepez Bld 50-33 including 37 on the defensive glass. American power forward Jermaine Dearman (202-80, college: S.Illinois) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Kerem Oztoprak (205-80) chipped in 14 points and 14 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was center Umut Durmus (206-80) with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Cihan Amasyali (191-83) scored 10 points and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
