We should mention about the upset which took place in Teramo, where higher ranked Pepsi Caserta (12-17) lost to fifteenth ranked Banca Tercas (10-19) in a road game 77-88 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by Banca Tercas. Pepsi Caserta was better in fourth quarter 30-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Banca Tercas looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was Serbian guard Ivan Zoroski (195-79) who scored 21 points and 8 assists. American-FYR Macedonian center Kevin Fletcher (207-80, college: Colorado Springs, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds. Banca Tercas' coach Alessandro Ramagli used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Jumaine Jones (202-79, college: Georgia) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and Nigerian-American swingman Ebi Ere (195-81, college: Oklahoma) added 19 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Banca Tercas moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Angelico BI. Pepsi Caserta lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 17 games lost. Banca Tercas will face higher ranked CS Bologna (#8) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
