Porto Ferpinta recorded the first win in the epic Final series versus Benfica. The game without a history. FC Porto Ferpinta led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. FC Porto Ferpinta dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Benfica's 32. FC Porto Ferpinta looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Gregory Stempin (203-79, college: Toledo, agency: Duran International) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and the former international forward Carlos Andrade (197-78, college: Queens, NC) chipped in 13 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Four FC Porto Ferpinta players scored in double figures. At the losing side American power forward Gregory Jenkins (206-82, college: Iona) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import forward Marquin Chandler (202-82, college: San Jose St.) scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
