Very expected game when 6th ranked Fuerza Guinda Nogales (17-17) were edged at home by second ranked Caballeros de Culiacan (24-10) 86-83 on Saturday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Caballeros de Culiacan made 8 blocks. American guard Rene Rougeau (198-86, college: UNLV) scored 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 5 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Marcus Moore (198-80, college: Washington St.) chipped in 27 points and 7 rebounds during the contest.
