Very predictable result when third ranked Angers BC 49 (22-12) won against bottom-ranked CFBB (5-29) in Paris 85-76. It looked good early as CFBB took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Angers BC 49 had a 21-11 second period charge getting the lead and CFBB was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 76-85. American power forward Damien Griffin (203-80, college: Mountain St., agency: Hart Sports Mngm) fired 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Jean-Victor Traore (204-85) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Angers BC 49's coach Jacky Perigois used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Benjamin John (186-93) produced 14 points and 4 assists and swingman Hugo Invernizzi (196-93) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Angers BC 49 have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 22-12 record having six points less than leader Bordeaux. CFBB lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 29 lost games.
