There was no surprise in Mahon where 18th ranked Menorca Basquet (7-27) was defeated by second ranked Real Madrid (26-8) 91-76 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 91-76. American center D'or Fischer (211-81, college: W.Virginia) fired 24 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. International guard Sergio Llull (190-87) chipped in 23 points. American power forward Jakim Donaldson (204-83, college: Edinboro) produced 13 points and 7 rebounds and Israeli guard Raviv Limonad (192-84) added 16 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Menorca Basquet's coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Real Madrid maintains second position with 26-8 record behind leader Regal Barca. Newly promoted Menorca Basquet stay dead last with 27 lost games. They share the position with Granada. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
