Everything could happen in Zadar at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Borik Puntamika and 7th ranked Alkar Sinj had identical 4-9 record. This time Borik Puntamika used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Sinj 81-64 on Sunday night. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 47-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Borik Puntamika dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Alkar Sinj's 22. Power forward Marino Sarlija (207-89) notched 25 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and power forward Jure Skific (202-88) supported him with 15 points and 4 assists. Four Borik Puntamika players scored in double figures. Borik Puntamika's coach Neven Plantak used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 15 points by guard Josip Blajic (192-87) did not help to save the game for Alkar Sinj. Swingman Ante Delas (201-88) added 9 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Borik Puntamika (5-9) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with KK Split. Newly promoted Alkar Sinj keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
