Zalgiris celebrated the third win in the Finals edging Lietuvos Rytas in Vilnius. The game without a history. Zalgiris led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Lietuvos Rytas' 30 and made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Lietuvos Rytas 37-22 including 24 on the defensive glass. 25 personal fouls committed by Lietuvos Rytas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard DeJuan Collins (188-76, college: Tuskegee) fired 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The other American import guard Marcus Brown (193-74, college: Murray St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) chipped in 14 points. Bosnian forward Kenan Bajramovic (206-81) produced 16 points and 8 rebounds and international swingman Simas Jasaitis (202-82) added 17 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
