No shocking result in a game when third ranked Rayos de Hermosillo (26-11) beat at home 6th ranked Fuerza Guinda Nogales (19-18) 100-82 on Friday. The game without a history. Rayos de Hermosillo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to Fuerza Guinda Nogales' 38. They outrebounded Fuerza Guinda Nogales 40-28 including a 32-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Rayos de Hermosillo made 9 blocks. American forward Lorrenzo Wade (198-85, college: San Diego St.) nailed 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import center Marquise Gray (206-86, college: Michigan St.) accounted for 18 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Brandon Heredia (180-85, college: Lon Morris JC) came up with 18 points and 6 assists and American forward Antoine Broxsie (209-79, college: Oklahoma St.) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Fuerza Guinda Nogales in the defeat.
