Benfica posted the second win in a row at home court and caught up with Porto in the title series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But FC Porto Ferpinta won third quarter 25-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Benfica made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by FC Porto Ferpinta helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Marquin Chandler (202-82, college: San Jose St.) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import swingman Ben Reed (191-83, college: W.Michigan) who added 13 points during the contest. At the losing side American forward Gregory Stempin (203-79, college: Toledo, agency: Duran International) responded with 25 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and the former international forward Carlos Andrade (197-78, college: Queens, NC) scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
