Porto Ferpinta grabbed 3-2 lead in the championship series following the home win over Benfica. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. FC Porto Ferpinta made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. FC Porto Ferpinta outrebounded Benfica 37-25 including 26 on the defensive glass. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Julian Terrell (206-84, college: Vanderbilt, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 15 rebounds for the winners and forward Gregory Stempin (203-79, college: Toledo, agency: Duran International) chipped in 27 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Benfica's coach Henrique Vieira rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
