Semi-Finals Game 2: Banvit BK - Galatasaray 85-74

Banvit overcame Galatasaray to draw things level in the semifinal series. It looked good early as Galatasaray took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Banvit had a 23-21 second period charge getting the lead and Galatasaray was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 74-85. American-Azerbaijan forward Charles Davis (202-84, college: Alabama) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. The former international guard Baris Ermis (194-85) contributed with 11 points and 7 assists for the winners. Four Banvit players scored in double figures. The former international guard Tutku Acik (194-80) replied with 15 points and 5 assists and American swingman Joshua Shipp (196-86, college: UCLA) added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Galatasaray. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
