Budivelnyk survived a tough test edging a narrow victory over BC Donetsk at home court and forcing the decider in the title series. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 34-30 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Zach Morley (203-83, college: Wisconsin) who scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import forward Lamayne Wilson (204-80, college: Troy) chipped in 18 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward J.K. Edwards (202-82, college: UNLV) who recorded 11 points and 7 rebounds and international forward Dmytro Gliebov (198-88, agency: Beo Basket) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
