An interesting game took place in Arkadia, where higher ranked Arkadikos (15-15) lost at home to fifteenth ranked Panerythraikos (12-18) 68-73 on Saturday. Arkadikos was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Panerythraikos made 20-of-22 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game. Cypriot guard Andreas Sizopoulos (189-83) scored 22 points to lead the charge for the winners and forward Nikos Matzioris (197-82) chipped in 6 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Miron Papadakis (183-88) with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and swingman Nikos Kokkalis (198-85) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Panerythraikos moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Olimpiada. Arkadikos lost fourth consecutive game.
