No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Araraquara (6-3) defeated at home bottom-ranked Sao Caetano (1-10) 71-60. It looked good early as Sao Caetano took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Araraquara had a 16-8 second period charge getting the lead and Sao Caetano was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 60-71. It was a good game for center Deivisson Costa (211-80) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Luisinho da Silva (181-78) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Araraquara's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Gustavo de Oliveira (-91) answered with 20 points and 7 rebounds and center Fabiao Pires (199-77) added 2 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Sao Caetano. Araraquara have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain seventh place with 6-3 record, which they share with Gremio Mogi. Sao Caetano lost fourth consecutive game.
