Everything went according to plan in Buenos Aires where top-ranked Boca Juniors (2-0) beat 6th ranked Obras (1-2) 81-73 on Sunday. Boca Juniors made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. The former international guard Maximiliano Stanic (178-78, agency: Players Group) scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Larry OBannon (194-83, college: Louisville, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. International power forward Juan Gutierrez (205-83) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and Uruguayan guard Martin Osimani (194-81, college: Duquesne) scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists.
