We should not miss anothera road victory of leader Esperides (1-0) who crushed bottom-ranked Panionios (0-1) by 25 points 78-53. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game without a history. Esperides led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Panionios to just 2 points in fourth quarter and to 13 points in second half. Esperides dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Panionios' 26. They outrebounded Panionios 40-25 including 28 on the defensive glass. American center Latoya Williams (193-87, college: Chipola JC) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Theoni Tzegianaki (162-85) chipped in 16 points, 8 assists and 4 steals.
