Very important is a road loss of third ranked Libertad Sunchales (2-2) against fourth ranked Sionista (3-1) on Sunday night. Visiting Libertad Sunchales was defeated by Sionista in a tough game in Parana 78-87. It was a key game for the top position in the league. It looked good early as Libertad Sunchales took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Sionista had a 22-17 second period charge getting the lead and Libertad Sunchales was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 78-87. 31 personal fouls committed by Libertad Sunchales helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Five Sionista and four Libertad Sunchales players scored in double figures. Sionista have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 5 other teams. Libertad Sunchales at the other side dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. Sionista's next round opponent will be Atenas (#3) in Cordoba, which may be the game of the day. Libertad Sunchales will play at home against La Union in Formosa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
