There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Talje Knights (0-2) were crushed at home by top-ranked Akropol (2-0) 88-45 on Sunday. The game without a history. Akropol led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Talje Knights to just 7 points in second quarter. Akropol dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Talje Knights' 30. They outrebounded Talje Knights 46-27 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Talje Knights were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was forward Richard Hartmann (201-89) who scored 17 points and 9 rebounds.
