Rather expected game when bottom-ranked Inea AZS (0-2) was smashed by top-ranked Wisla Can-Pak (2-0) in Poznan 75-41. The game without a history. Wisla Can-Pak led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Inea AZS's 30. They outrebounded Inea AZS 48-29 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Montenegrin forward Milka Bjelica (193-81) had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Hungarian center Petra Ujhelyi (192-80, college: S.Carolina, agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in 22 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Guard Julia Adamowicz (178-94) responded with 14 points and center Daria Marciniak (188-94) scored 6 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 4 other teams. Inea AZS at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Wisla Can-Pak will play against league's second-placed Energa Torun at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
