Regular Season Round 2: T71 - Basket Esch 89-80

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Basket Esch (1-1) in Dudelange on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by T71 (2-0) 89-80. It was a key game for the top position in the league as both teams had the same 1-0 record before this meeting. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 26-18. Basket Esch at the other side dropped to the fourth place with one game lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. T71 is looking forward to face Soleuvre (#6) in Belvaux in the next round where they are favorite. Basket Esch will play at home against the league's leader Amicale in Steinsel and is hoping to win this game.
