No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Salon Vilpas (2-2) beat at home bottom-ranked LrNMKY (0-3) 68-64 on Saturday. LrNMKY trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 21-12 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 64-68 at the end of the game. American players dominated the game. It was a very good performance for forward John Fields (205-88, college: Tennessee) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Emmanuel Holloway (188-86, college: Illinois St.) contributed with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Forward Lawrence Hamm (198-84, college: Towson, agency: Court Side) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and forward Tyler Tiedeman (201-85, college: Boise St., agency: Interperformances) added 14 points in the effort for LrNMKY. Salon Vilpas moved-up to fifth place. LrNMKY at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost. Salon Vilpas will face Kouvot (#8) in Kouvola in the next round.
