Very expected game when bottom-ranked Toshiba Thunders (0-2) lost to leader Aishin Sea Horses (2-0) in Kariya 51-68 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 17 points. Aishin Sea Horses dominated on the defensive end, holding Toshiba Thunders to just 7 points in second quarter. Aishin Sea Horses had a 34-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Aishin Sea Horses made 7 blocks. It was a very good performance for the former international power forward J.R.
